Novice
Amy Harbaugh:  285-3526 is the "Mat Parent" for the Novice wrestlers and should be contacted for any Tournament information and Tournament sign ups.

Experienced

Attire:

Wear shorts and t-shirt or a singlet. A singlet is a one piece garment worn by wrestlers. Black singlets with the Hempfield logo are available for purchase through the Booster Club at practices. They are not mandatory for practice but tournaments often require a singlet. Wrestling shoes, although advised, are not mandatory. Street shoes are not permitted on the mat, so bring a change of sneakers. Wrestling shoes can be purchased at most sporting goods stores.

Hempfield will be hosting an Area IX, Section 3 PJW qualifer on Sunday, February, 19 2012. For additional information, applications, and contact information call Tina Loose 898-2287. Online registrations can be made at: http://wrestlereg.com The age groups are 8, 9&10, 11&12 and 13&14. All are welcome from the following counties: Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, Schuykill & York

*Sunday Tournaments are not the norm, but there may be one or two you might want to go to.

Elementary wrestling practice takes place in the HS wrestling room above the Buchanon Gym.  Parking lot off of Kauffman rd.  Enter doors and go up the stairs.

Doors open at 6:15 practice starts promptly at 6:30.  Please allow enough time to change shoes.

Novice

*Dec.  - March / Practice Tuesday & Thursday 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Experienced

*Dec. - March  / Practice Monday & Wednesday 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

*School closed for snow etc. then practice is canceled.
